Our History

It was the year 2015, after the deadliest earthquake in Nepal, that changed the situation of the country for the underprivileged and marginalized communities. People in the remote areas were badly affected and daily life was economically hardened. Mr. Deepak Adhikari (Founder-Director) was saddened by the situation which had affected his own ongoing business leaving him to manage an economical difficult household. Mr. Adhikari then started helping people in need along with other friends and groups in his community. Throughout all his work, he started thinking of those underprivileged and marginalized communities, which had been deprived of many facilities. Influenced by the situation and motivated toward helping those communities in urgent need, on the 19th of May 2015, Nepal Rescue Mission was established officially, registered in Bhaktapur C.D.O office.
